Digital Deepak conducted session 2 on 7th March 2020, the important lesson he always says is Learn-Do -Teach, when you learn something you have to be an expert in it and help people to that and teach people to live a better life.

In order to understand your target audience first, we need to understand

Demographics and Psychographics

Demographics

Market segmentation according to age, race, religion, gender, family size, ethnicity, income, and education. Demographics can be segmented into several markets to help a company target its consumers more accurately.

Psychographics

The qualitative methodology of studying consumers based on psychological characteristics and traits such as values, desires, goals, interests, and lifestyle choices. Psychographics in marketing focus on understanding the consumer’s emotions and values, so you can market more accurately.

Whenever you are discovering your customer avatar it should be like you are discovering about a specific person, it should include what kind of person he is what are his likes and dislikes and all the demographic and psychographic information.

I am a part-time social media executive working in an advertising agency. Now I decided a start social media marketing for restaurants and hotels as a freelancer. So here my ideal customer is restaurants and hotel owners.

He is Mr.kabali, he owns a chain of restaurants in Tamil Nadu. He doesn’t have knowledge of the internet or social media. Final Summary

Finding the right customer is important in business and customer avatar helps you find the right people to come to your business by demographics and psychographics. These are the things I learned from session 2 of the digital Deepak internship. He helped me with the customer avatar survey forms using google forms.
