The story starts on December 19, 2019. That was the first day, I went to my first job after my graduation.
I was working as a social media executive in a small advertising agency, I was so happy that I got a job and salary in hand.
At the same time, a deadly virus was attacking China. I thought the virus is only in China and it never gonna come to India and I was carrying out my regular job.
It was January 27, 2020, the first covid case confirmed in India.
I was shocked to hear the first covid news in India. The virus has traveled from China to India, which too first came to my state(Kerala).
Three months passed
The covid cases started increasing day by day.
On March 24, 2020 evening, I was sitting in my office. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi announced the first lowdown in India.
At that time I was happy that it was like a holiday for me. My colleagues and I stopped the work and went home.
Two months full lockdown. I was working from home. I faced severe stress during the lockdown.
So I started involving myself in cooking and cleaning the house.
While cleaning the house, I got a health tips book.
A sudden thought came to my mind “Eureka” moment
Why can’t I start a youtube channel about health tips. So I discussed with my daddy and started a youtube channel with my daddy.
My daddy writes the script and gives a voice-over because the book was in Malayalam, so I am good at reading Malayalam.

Everything was going well.
But from September to December I didn’t receive any salary from my company but I still worked.
Life Twist
In December end I resigned from the job. I was completely blank.
I don’t know what to do next.
I started googling how to earn online day and night. I tried many methods, but nothing worked for me.
Finally, I found something that works for me
Its “Reselling Business“
I have no experience in Business and even my family doesn’t have it.
So I decided to start something new
I installed reselling apps on my phone and started uploading product images to the Facebook marketplace.
After two weeks.
I got an order from Malappuram which failed twice because the customer gave me the wrong address.
I was sad.
I told myself “Never Give up” try again.
I got my second order from Madurai, the product is a washbasin filter.
This is the first successful order which got delivered in time.
I earned Rs63, my first profit.
Some of my customers want to enquire about the product overcall. But I was an introvert, I felt shy and I don’t know how to converse with customers because my previous orders are over chat.
Big Trouble
Then I motivated myself that “If you don’t talk well you can’t do business”.
I got my third order which the customer wants to talk about the product over the phone.
I got my first order through a phone call.
From that call, I learned how to talk with the customer and bargain.
I learned so many tricks in every order I received.
In two months, I was able to get 150+ orders and generate over 18K.
It really gave me confidence in life.
Blogging Twist
As I have a digital marketing background, so I decided to start something related to it. Keeping the reselling business on other hand.
“Blogging”
I started reading blogs of Kulwant nagi who is an affiliate marketing expert.
So I started a website on hosting related topics. Here is my website click here
I started writing about web hosting.
I wrote two blogs, which I am not confident about the blog I have written.
I want somebody to give me comments on my blog.
I am writing well or not. So I decided to join content vidya, to learn more about writing and the main highlight is Uma mam corrects each article and gives comments. This is what I want. I will get my article corrected on Sep 25.
Finally
From being a social media executive to a business and blogging career. My life got transformed with a new mindset. I remember a quote that I saw on Instagram “Good thing about time is, it changes” This is my life since 2020. Thank you for reading my story.
